This new up and coming Asian American band, Seriously is made up of four young men from Diamond Bar, California (Philip Park, 19; Chris Pham,19; Josh Baek, 22 and Nathan Park, 19).  The four guys began playing together in a local church and came together to compete in LA’s premier Asian American talent show, Kollaboration in 2006 where they won the Grand Prize with their song, “Irony”. Since their winning performance at Kollaboration, they were signed by Woody Pak, CEO/ producer of Chaos Theory Music and artist manager, Gloria Lee, to record an EP showing off their talent for melanchology yet fresh songwriting. Seriously’s music blends hints of K-pop (aka Korean pop music), Brit-pop and American rock & roll, and their songs display a signature melancholy-hued optimism with raw honesty.

Mai Lee is St. Louis’ newest pop sensation to hit the airwaves.  Born to a hardworking musical family, Mai Lee has been perfecting her craft of singing and songwriting since the age of 13.  Her appreciation for music was instilled at a very young age as she observed her mother and father singing old war songs and traditional Vietnamese love songs during family gatherings.  She enjoyed it so much, her parents enrolled her in a school for visual and performing arts to continue to cultivate her interest and natural talent.

Growing up and listening to the music of such legends at Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige in the early 90’s, Mai Lee decided to pursue music professionally and bring her own style to America’s popular culture musical landscape.

Her unique voice is showcased on her newest single “When Love Was” and will be featured on her eagerly awaited debut album.  The album will include a sultry mix of pop, dance, and R&B tracks incorporating her own, work as well as collaborations with the music industries’ powerhouse producers and music makers.

    Davis Truong
    http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/105/m_74cd97e475f14dbe81f371e9068b73ef.jpg
Davis Truong started playing the guitar during his junior year of high school. Before his high school years, Davis was not much of a music person. Mainly, he would just listen to artists that he admired and were inspired by. Until he finally got musical inspiration when he saw one of his best friends play the guitar. This was the first time Davis had heard someone play a guitar live and he thought to himself, “Wow, that’s freaking the bomb!” His friend was playing a song that Davis had heard on the radio called “Behind Blue Eyes” by Limp Bizkit. Since that day, Davis was so motivated to play and even convinced his parents to buy him a guitar. Davis has not been able to stop playing since.  He fell in love with how cool it was to be able to play a song that he had never heard before.

As he improved on his guitar-playing skills, he then decided to make up his own rhythms and started writing his own songs. He just liked the idea of being able to create a song all on your own. He would listen to a bunch of different songs and thought about what he liked about it and what he felt the song was missing. Davis wanted his songs to be meaningful, catchy, different and honest. There is no musical influence that inspires his music and till this day, he still does not listen to much music. He just loves making music. He also thinks that it is a good thing since he does not like to mimic or copy any other artists' styles or creations.

His songs are based mainly on what he is feeling at the time and he will write songs at random times. To Davis, nothing feels better than a finished song and the joy that people will have when they hear it. Even though music is not Davis' main career, he will still always continue making it. As of now, Davis Truong is really happy with his life and appreciates everything about it.
